PAINTING | MALARSTWO

[ENG} INTERIOR is a territory that is difficult to access, remote from important centers and a poorly developed place. After entering the password, the Internet shows, among others, examples such as: Outback – a term for vast, sparsely populated, predominantly parts of desert and semi-arid areas in central Australia, the interior of Alaska and the glacial sediment-covered Western Interior Plains in Canada. The word Interior in the dictionary translation from English means interior. Bringing associations with an exclusive and well-designed place. In Spanish we find a much more interesting translation – because in addition to the interior, you can also find connotations with the center, depth, soul and conscience.
The painting presented at the exhibition took the form of abstraction. I never thought I would be able to afford to publish such a sincere and intimate painting.
And that’s what my works are about. About the spaces of the soul – with common and antagonistic elements. With layering structure and form. Repeatedly applying paints, peeling them off and re-applying subsequent layers is an attempt to achieve visual satisfaction while telling stories about dilemmas, difficult emotions, indecision, determination, love, worries and anger. And about all the hidden emotions that are most easily talked about using gestural painting, visual composition and color.

[PL] INTERIOR to terytorium trudno dostępne, oddalone od ważnych ośrodków i słabo zagospodarowane miejsce. Internet po wpisaniu hasła wskazuje między innymi takie przykłady jak: Outback – określenie rozległych, słabo zaludnionych, w przeważającej części pustynnych i półpustynnych obszarów w środkowej Australii, wnętrze Alaski czy pokryte osadami lodowca Zachodnie Równiny Wewnętrzne w Kanadzie. Słowo Interior w słownikowym tłumaczeniu z języka angielskiego oznacza wnętrze. Nasuwając skojarzenia z miejscem ekskluzywnym i dobrze zaprojektowanym. W języku hiszpańskim znajdujemy znacznie ciekawsze tłumaczenie – bo oprócz wnętrza, można znaleźć również konotacje ze środkiem, głębią, duszą i sumieniem.
Malarstwo przedstawione na wystawie przyjęło formę abstrakcji. Nigdy nie przypuszczałam, że będzie mnie stać na upublicznienie tak szczerego i jednocześnie intymnego malarstwa.
I o tym właśnie są moje prace. O przestrzeniach duszy – z elementami wspólnymi i antagonizującymi się. Z nawarstwiającą się strukturą i formą. Wielokrotne nałożenie farb, ich zdzieranie, ponowne nakładanie kolejnych warstw to próba dojścia do wizualnej satysfakcji przy jednoczesnym snuciu opowieści o rozterkach, trudnych emocjach,
niezdecydowaniu, zdecydowaniu, o miłości, troskach i złości. I o wszystkich skrywanych emocjach, o których najłatwiej mówi się za pomocą malarstwa gestu, kompozycji wizualnej i barwie.
